The technician decides — every time
- Never a verdict. Every possibility Machina surfaces is a suggestion with reasons attached — nothing it outputs sets a value or triggers an action on its own.
- Confidence, not certainty. Suggestions carry their reasoning; thin or contradictory evidence gets called out, not smoothed over into a false sure thing.
- Local-first by design. The reasoning is designed to run on the shop's own machine, so shop and customer data doesn't need to leave it.
